Officer's Sam Browne waterbottle and carrier
    Item No: 143 Quantity: 1
    Price: £30

This is the special pattern of waterbottle for officer's. It has some mothing to the cover but it is a rare item to find.

The sling is detachable and it can then be worn with the Sam Browne equipment.

    1915 soldier's stove
    Item No: 141 Quantity: 1
    Price: £150

Many such items were available as private purchase for use in the trenches. What's different about this is that it was an official WD issue.

It is dated 1915 by William Edgar of Hammersmith, this appears both on the stove and its container.

The lid is WD stamped as is the container. You can unscrew the wick to renew it and this has a little cover on a chain to protect it.

Excellent condition and the only WD one I've ever seen.

    1914 Semaphore cards
    Item No: 140 Quantity: 1
    Price: £30

Original pack of semaphore cards named to a trooper of the Ayrshire Yeomanry and dated 1914.

Some ageing as to be expected but a rare survivor after all these years.

    1870s period ammo pouch
    Item No: 139 Quantity: 1
    Price: £50

This is a German ammo pouch with markings to 124th Regiment.

One of the closure straps has broken but the end was found tucked inside the pouch!

There is an internal division for the cartridges, its made of some sort of hide.

    Only example I've ever seen.

One cuff opens and snaps shut, the other swings open as the lock mechanism has gone from the end.

    WW1 Royal Artillery peaked cap

    WW1 Derby Scheme armband
    Item No: 130 Quantity: 1

Wearing this armband in civvies proved you were under 'Lord Derby's Scheme to Enlist'.
