| WW2 Blackout light | | Item No: 178 |
Quantity: 1 |
Wartime lamp for the home during blackout. It has a tiny bulb anyway but it is heavily shielded by a long bakelite cover. The lamp is unused and complete with its original box. There is a tiny Osram card label fitted round the bulb base. To have survived this well, it must be ex-shop stock. Excellent condition, no problems.

| WW2 sign: AIR RAID WARDENS' POST | | Item No: 158 |
Quantity: 1 |
Bakelite sign for a Wardens' post with white inset lettering. Brown bakelite is naturally dark so I had to scan with lots of light, hence the white paint looks brighter than it is in reality. Measures 21cm by 6cm. Excellent condition.
| Stirrup pump | | Item No: 155 |
Quantity: 1 |
This is an ex ARP /CD stirrup pump. It looks like WW2 but is actually dated and WD stamped 1965 on the brass collar. Came from Civil Defence stores, the pump mechanism is still greased and although untested, it probably still works. Depends how far you want to go with your display!
| WW2 Evacuees suitcase | | Item No: 153 |
Quantity: 1 |
A nice little wartime suitcase in fibre material. It is of small proportions so ideal for an Evacuee display.
| Rare boxed Baby's gasmask. (Post free in UK) | | Item No: 57 |
Quantity: 1 |
WW2 issue Baby's gasmask or "protective helmet" as it was officially known. The item itself is near mint having been stored in its box for the last 60 years. There is no perishing to the rubber and all the paint is complete. Bellows pump and all straps intact with no problems, everything is as it should be. Even the little metal "government property" label remains intact. This is a real sleeper! The rare thing though is the box, this has the Baby's Protective Helmet designation printed on it and is of stout card construction. There are a few scuffs and marks but it has not been tape repaired or otherwise messed around with.
This is a very heavy item but POST FREE if in UK.
